So we built Fox & Kit in Sedona, two modern desert homes you can stay in.
As the founders of The Ranch Mine, an internationally renowned and nationally award winning architecture firm based in Arizona, we’ve spent over a decade and a half designing homes across the country and around the world. But those homes are private and the experience of living in them is something few ever get to feel. Fox & Kit is the answer to a simple question: what if anyone could live in the kind of home we design? Now you can.
Fox & Kit offers something different. It lets you live with design in a way that open houses and online photos never can. You get to cook in the kitchen, sleep in the bedrooms, adjust the lights, chat around the fire, gaze at the stars, and see how the space responds from sunrise to sunset. You experience the flow, the materials and the views over the course of a few days, a weekend or more.
We chose Sedona for its extraordinary beauty and for the chance to create a place that helps people connect with nature and each other. This hillside property, with two distinct homes and endless views, reflects how we believe good design responds to its site and can elevate daily life.
We also collaborated with an incredible group of partners to bring Fox & Kit to life, craftspeople, companies and products we’ve worked with for years as well as some we’ve admired and wanted to experience firsthand. From construction assemblies to systems, finishes to fixtures, furniture to lighting, every element in the home was chosen with purpose. Guests receive a full guide to the products and makers used throughout the property, so you can discover what speaks to you and carry those ideas into your own home.
